Painting and Spider

So we've had good weather today and I finally finished painting the windows, I also did the first railing on the boat.  She's looking very nice, althou the roof will need a serious repaint, partly because I got red paint on it from drips and partly due to the scratchs on it which are worse than I previosuly thought, luckily I have plenty of spare blue paint.  Lets hope the weather holds.

Now I'm not afraid of spiders (get a lot of them on the boat) but check out the size of the one we caught in a house the other day.  It was actually trying to attack the lighter we put next to it for scale.

Getting her ship shape

Two posts in one night, shows someone is living it up this fine friday evening.

But thought before I get to work tomorrow doing minor cosmetic work, I'd post some pictures of what will be done over the next week or two.

Remove the rust and redo the blue

Touch up the edges with blue

Repaint the windows, I've decided to go with red

Clean, treat rust, repaint (colour unknown)

Paint the door blue

I also plan on changing a few blue parts to red, but still working out which.

So I own a Boat...

To which my answer is yes.  Her name is Babayaga, and for better or worse she is mine.

Having opened with such a dull statement I'm afraid the rest of this post doesn't pick up much more intrest, this blog exists so that various friends can see pictures and follow my progess with my boat. Hopefully as time goes on it will increase in wit, as I undertake the various trails of living afloat.

So without futher ado, let me show you some pictures:
